Ride Calendar is a non-profit initiative from Design by Peppi. Based around an artistic collection, the calendar uses vivid illustrations to showcase the inspirational characters in cycling who’ve had their lives turned upside down.

The calendar artwork features high profile athletes competing at their former best. Backed up by website based interviews, the project demonstrates the way these people have dealt with the tragedy to live their new lives.

The primary objective of the calendar is to raise money for medical research. Aligned with two major foundations, profits from Ride Calendar will go towards research and development into spinal cord injury and brain trauma.

On a personal level, the riders in the calendar show that dealing with tragedy can provide an amazing level of honesty, perspective and motivation. The project celebrates this and demonstrates the way they have used their experience to touch and influence thousands.
